Hi. I kinda got bored with the series I was working on (well, more like lazy) and decided to do a one-shot story instead. I seem to be much better at making one-shot stories rather than long ones, anyways. I'll try to come back to Iku and others later on, but for now it's this story.
Note: I know Komachis aren't exactly immortal (only when they're asleep, and they can still be killed, perhaps?), but I decided to allow this one to be immortal when asleep.

In the forest, there was a sleeping Komachi. She liked to sleep, and was never seen away from the hole at the base of the tree where she slept. No yukkuri ever saw her awake, either. So Komachi was usually deemed a yukkuri that took it too easy.
One day, a Deibu came into Komachi's home.
"Yu, gonna make stupid Komachi Deibu's refreshing slave!"
She raped the Komachi while she was asleep, and the Komachi ended up growing a stalk. Luckily for her, she was immortal while asleep, so she could take the stress of carrying little ones (as well as sleep without requiring food). The Deibu took it easy within the Komachi's home.
That night, there was a lot of noise coming from Komachi's house. Having no food to eat, Deibu kept yelling at Komachi to go find food. Of course, the Komachi never woke up, being able to go without food. As such, her home was always devoid of anything to eat.
"ARE YOU DEAF? STUPID KOMACHI GO FIND BEAUTIFUL DEIBU FOOD!!"
"Uu! It's munch-munch!"
"WRY IS REMIRYA HERE!?"
"Stupid yukkuri that makes noise all night will always be found by Remilia!"
Remilia easily found Komachi's home thanks to the loud and noisy Deibu. It was a breeze for her to silence the screaming yukkuri and eat her.
"Uu~ Remilia will have lots for little ones. Munch~ munch~ uu?! Deibu tastes awful! Too greasy! Little ones won't like this. Uu? A Komachi? Komachi can't be eaten easy. Remi will have to settle for Deibu."
Remilia was told that there are yukkuri that sleep a lot and shouldn't be eaten because they'll get stuck in their stomach. While she didn't know what those yukkuri are (Kaguya, for the most part), she associated yukkuri that always sleep with yukkuri that can't be eaten, and thus avoided Meilings, Komachis and nightcap Yuukas (if they even existed) as well.
"Uu? Komachi has mister stalk, but babies on mister stalk are all black. Remi thinks that Komachi won't mind if Remi takes it."
It's extremely difficult to get a koyukkuri Komachi. Komachis hardly breed in the first place obecause they are almost always asleep. Komachi's children on the stalk were all Reimus, and because she never ate, the koReimus never got nutrition and all starved and died on the stalk in less than a day. Remilia saw the stalk with blackened buds and decided to take it for herself. She didn't associate the stalk with the yukkuri that can't be eaten, as she remembered the easy taste of the stalk from when she was a baby.
Remilia left Komachi in peace, minus a Deibu and a stalk. Even if Komachi had noticed, she probably would have been glad to be rid of both.
Komachi's peace would only last a short time, as within the next day, a Marisa and Reimu invaded her home.
"Yufufu, what an easy place, ze!"
"As expected of Deibu's husband! Yu? There's an uneasy Komachi in Deibu's easy place!"
"The Great Marisa will punish the shitty Komachi, ze!"
Marisa bounced at Komachi and tackled her. The sleeping yukkuri doesn't even react. Marisa kept attacking Komachi for a while, and eventually tires off and stops. Komachi doesn't even look fazed, but Marisa still took it as her victory, as Komachi never fought back. The two claimed Komachi's home as either own, and while they never did anything to kick Komachi out, every once in a while one of them would notice the sleeping yukkuri and attack her until they were satisfied. Neither actually thought about killing her, even with the large scythe that Komachi had with her.
A few weeks passed, and Marisa and Reimu had babies.
"Cyute Weimu ish bewin bown eajy!"
"Maricha ish chaking id eajy!!"
"Isch wike fwying in da skwy!"
"Showwy fo' bewin sho cyute!"
Two koReimus, two koMarisas. Rather balanced out. While Marisa and Reimu exchanged greetings with their new babies, Komachi continued to sleep in the corner of her home, where Marisa and Reimu had pushed her over. Marisa took off the stalk the babies were born on and gave it to them to eat. The babies all expressed their joy while eating.
"Munch~ munch~ HAPPINESH!!"
"Yufufu. Little ones are so easy, ze."
"Of course little ones are easy. Reimu is the mother after all."
"That for sure, ze. Little ones born from beautiful Reimu will always be easy, ze!"
"Doing poo poo eajy!"
"Yu, little ones are doing poo-poo. Marisa should do lick lick for little ones."
As Marisa cleaned the koReimus, one of the koMarisas (she got cleaned first) crawled over to Komachi.
"Yu? Ish a yukkuwi dat Gweat Maricha hash neveh sheen befwor."
"Yu? Little one, that is an uneasy Komachi that must be punished!"
"Den Maricha will punich dat shitty yukkuwi! PYUUUFF!!"
"Cyute Weimu will alsho punich shitty Komachi! PYUUUFF!"
"Little ones are so tough! Even mister humans don't stand a chance against little ones!"
"Be en awe of Gweat Maricha's PYUUUUUUFFF!!"
While the family continued to bully (or just annoy) Komachi, a yukkuri Flandre heard the commotion and, suspecting that it's sweet sweets, went to check it out.
"Uuu~ uuu~ lots of sweet sweets are here."
"WRY IS FLAN HERE!?"
"Yukkuri are too noisy. Be quiet and become Flan's munch munch."
Flandre slashed the Reimu's feet before jumping up and crushing Marisa under her weight. To make sure Marisa, the biggest threat to her, wouldn't put up a fight, she grabbed the nearest solid object, Komachi's scythe, and stabbed it into Marisa, ending any resistance from her. She then turned on Reimu, who couldn't move due to her disabled feet.
"WRY ISH DIS HABBINING?!"
"Don't buwwy mommy! Pyuff!"
"Don't eatch cyute Weimu, eatch shitty Maricha inshtead!!"
"WRY WOULD YOU SAY THAT!!"
"Yukkuri shouldn't make a lot of noise. On second though, make lots of noise. Flan can find munch munch lots easier."
It was a cake walk for Flandre to finish off the Reimu and her weak koyukkuri. Flandre was about to eat the family when she noticed the Komachi in the corner. As the Komachi didn't make any sound, Flan didn't immediately notice and thus attack her. This gave time for Flan to think about the sleeping Komachi.
"Uuu. This must be the Komachi big sis was talking about. Well, Komachi can't be eaten easy, so Flandre will have to spare Komachi."
She then looked at the scythe she was holding and tossed it back at Komachi.
"This belongs to Komachi. Thanks for letting Flan borrow it."
She then took the bodies of the yukkuri she had slain and carried them away. Thus Komachi got to enjoy a few more days of peace and quiet.
A third visitor passed by her house. However, this was not a home invader. Rather, a rare yukkuri Shikieiki was running past her house, being chased by two Marisas. She used to be a judge for a clan of yukkuri led by Dosu. Eiki had an easy job (for her) judging yukkuri in Dosu's court. However, food ran short, Dosu Marisa thought that she could raid a human town for food. When Eiki declared her 'black' and offered other solutions (such as actually rationing food they collected rather than eating it all), Dosu declared her an uneasy yukkuri and set her two best Marisa guards on her.
"Shitty Shikieiki that hogs all the easy places should die easy, ze!"
"That is not true! Shikieiki judged Dosu black for wanting to take easy places that belong to misters!"
"Stop saying things that Marisa doesn't understand and drop dead easy!"
"Isn't it clear? Stealing easy places is uneasy!!"
"All the easy places belong to Dosu and Marisa, ze!"
By the time Eiki passed by Komachi's house, she had stopped trying to reason with the pursuing Marisas and started screaming for help.
"Yu yu yu. Help! Help! KOMACHIIIII!!"
Eiki had never met a yukkuri Komachi then, but the paste inside her gave her some memory of a Komachi. As a result, Eiki (as well as other Eikis) will call for Komachi even if they don't know one.
Komachi's eyes shot open the moment she heard Eiki call her name.
"Yu? Eiki-sama?"
She went out of her home just in time to see Eiki being chased by the Marisas.
"Yu!! EIKI-SAMA!"
"What's that sound, ze?"
The Marisas turned and were surprised to be a Komachi barreling that them with her scythe in her mouth.
"Yuaa?!"
"Don't hurt Eiki-sama!!"
Komachi tore apart the two Marisas with her scythe, ripping apart hats and splitting hairs. The two Marisas panicked and ran away. They would later be eaten by a Flandre. Komachi yelled at them as they fled.
"Bad yukkuri that attacks Eiki-sama should drop dead easy. Eiki-sama?"
She looked around and found Eiki-sama shuddering in a bush.
"Eiki-sama?"
"Yu... Yu... Komachi?"
"Eiki-sama! Komachi punished the uneasy yukkuri that were chasing Eiki-sama!"
"Judge it easy! Eiki declares Komachi white for giving punishment to uneasy yukkuri!"
"Eiki-sama~"
The two hit it off pretty well, as Eiki was literally the only yukkuri Komachi would wake up for. Together, they would start an easy family in Komachi's house, which would soon become filled with food and beds. While Eiki may have been ostracized from her clan and Komachi considered a yukkuri that took it too easy, the two were able to take it easy together.
The End.

Very easy story! We need more about rare yukkuri and their quirks.You even mentioned PC-98 Yuuka! =D
One of my pet peaves, though, is people calling Eiki 'Shikieiki". Eiki is her first name, Shiki is her last name. Eiki-sama is Eiki-sama, understand easy!
As for Komachis being immortal, I took that to mean they never die of old age. Regular (non-bodied, no-dosu) yukkuri have a lifespan of 3-5 years in my headcanon, but Mokous, Kaguyas, Eirins, Komachis, Eikis, Byakurens and maybe Tenshis can live longer than that. I spent way too much time thinking about this stuff. =p

I remembered that Yamaxanadu was Shikieiki's title and not her last name. I'll make sure to just use Eiki for her yukkuri next time.
As for yukkuri immortality, I think that the immortality would depend on the writer. However, I do think that the Hourai Elixir yukkuri would be completely immortal (Mokou, Kaguya, Eirin) because of the emphasis on the characters' immortality in both the fandom and the series. The other yukkuri could be written as immortal too, I guess. I just decided to make Komachi immortal while asleep so she could take abuse from other yukkuri.

Komachi and Eiki immortality can probably change, but yeah they do seem immortal for the most part. The others kinda depend on how the writer feels. In the end, I guess immortality kinda depends on how the author wants to write it. In my case, I made Komachi immortal while asleep so she could take the abuse from other yukkuri she did in the story.
