Briefcase: File Recovery

Hello, I have been a yahoo briefcase user for a while now and have uploaded some very important training modules over the last 3 years. I did not check my email until today just to learn that this facility has been removed from your list of services. I am pretty disappointed at this point especially because the information from my account was integral for my work.  I'm not sure if I am emailing the right team, however, it would be nice if you could find a way to restore my files or connect me to someone who can help. There is no other way for me to recover these files and under the assumption that everything would still be available I hadn't bothered checking my email regularly.  Please confirm how you can help me at this point I would really appreciate it. We understand your feeling, you checked today , I happen to check my email just one day after Briefcase shut down and Yahoo flatly refused saying anything can be done.

 

I don't know if this is a waste of time trying things as Yahoo is adamant of not doing anything.

 

My 2 cents.

Readers of the posts here know that since then many have been mailed there files on compact optical discs (aks CD's).

 I had the same problem because I was away for job for ca. 4 months in a place in the world where there was no Internet ..

 

 

And the pepole of Yahoo  after my written request didin't reply.

 

I think that "our" data are not lost..

 

They have for sure a backup...

 

But currently me too (I'm back working and have less time somtimes) must look how to find the way on how to do this.

 

Here in our country a similar thing will create such a big rumor that the internet provider will have to solve problem restoring immediatly the situation..

 

This is against our rights and privacy !!!!!
