Xtend support for VS Code

Would really love to have Xtend working in VSCode, just like Xtext.

Ideally... should Xtend not be built in Xtext, and Xtext create the syntax support for VSCode?

https://github.com/eclipse/xtext-core/issues/159 is open for a year now.
that's the main blocker point for that.

That experiment looks like just the thing Christian!

Is that issue 159 hard to overcome?

well i am neither familiar with the internals of maven npr gradle to say how easy it is to populate a clasloader with whatever a gradle or maven project defines.

the main problem is that is is work. and right now i am fully packed with other work. so are others. contributions are welcome. am willing to mentor.
