Changelog for 2.8.4

Is there any place to see what was changed in 2.8.4, outside of reading through git changelogs?

You mean something like API diff?

Not really, something like human written changelog, highlighting the changes. 'Formatter now allows specifying width of space in pixels', 'debugger now can now highlight the variables which make your program buggy', 'editor works a lot faster now' etc.

There is one at https://eclipse.org/xtend/releasenotes.html but it is only for major releases, not for changes in minor releases.

Minor releases (i.e. 2.8.x) don’t have any additional features but only have bugfixes.

The list of bugfixes can be looked up with a bugzilla query that we send out in the announcements.
