I'm looking for a way to push particles away from a curve as they flow along it.  I have a nice flow working but would like an option to bring them closer to the curve or further away but still follow the path.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Try:
- Get Closest Location (PointPosition to Curve) --> Get PointPositon
= "CurvePos"
- Normalise (Subtract ("CurvePos", "PointPosition")) --> "CurveForce"
- PointPosition + ("CurveForce" * Strength) -> Set PointPosition

Cool vid Stefan...and thanks Brad as usual :-)  Vincent.  I'm curious what you're suggesting but don't quite understand your steps.

A few times ago, someone asked for coloring light or texturing light. Can't remember exactly what it was.
Doodeling around I tweaked the following setup (see attached image)
Maybe everybody is already aware of this, and it's me beeing naive and young, but I was pretty pleased.
So this are just  2 shaded pointlights, here with outrageous colors for the demo, they are set to "visible in render" (area light) but it
works without.

Here is a little proof-if-conzept....

Wasn't even sure, if my thought were right...

Via the Scalar (0.959) you could modify, the Radius the Particles were Pushed to, or the Distance they will be pushed every Frame (if in SimulationStack)
Maybee you need to add a little Random-Offset to your particles, so that they know, in wich direction they should fligh.
