I have noticed that the Action menu for PET sessions does not contain a Build option. We would like to run pipelines on PET sessions but that does not seem possible without the Build option in the session Action menu. What do I need to do to get the Build option for PET sessions?

Hi Bill,

In order for the PET Sessions report page to have a Build link in the Action Menu, please follow the step 5 mentioned here:

replace xnat:mrSessionData with xnat:petSessionData.

Mohana,

Thanks for the quick reply. That certainly is a straightforward approach but I could not get it to work. I opened up xnat:petSessionData for editing and filled in the blanks as per the example. I clicked the Submit button. When I viewed a PET session, there was no Build option. When I went back to the xnat:petSessionData edit page, the newly inserted PipelineScreen_launch_pipeline entry was not there. What did I not do?

Thanks,
Bill Rogers

Hi Bill,

My only conclusions are:

A) You are unable to see Build probably because either you did not log back in or your user account does not have previlege to see Build in Actions box.

B) Its strange that as admin when you went back to edit petSessionData you didnt see the entry for Build.

I suspect it wasnt saved at all. Could you try again loggin in as admin.

Regards
Mohana

Mohana,

I did it as Admin the first time around but I tried again. I then tried it using a 1.6.4 VM without success. When I click the Submit button it does not leave the edit screen.

I then tried it with a 1.6.3 VM and it worked like a charm. This time when I clicked the Submit button, it took me back the the xnat:petSessionData Details page showing that Build had been added.

Mohana,

Are you sure this works with 1.6.4? The edit screen is different in 1.6.4. The Secure Access field is now a popup menu and there is a Feature field as well.

I have tried it as Admin with the 1.6.4 production server, a 1.6.4 VM, and a 1.6.4.2 VM and in all cases, when I click the Submit button it refreshes the edit screen but does not leave it.

I have tried it with a 1.6.3 VM and it worked fine. When I clicked the Submit button, it took me back the the xnat:petSessionData Details page showing that Build had been added.

I have also tried Firefox, Chrome, and Safari browsers on various machines without success.

Help!
