I tried to perform this section "7.8. Induced metrics", but in part of "InducedDecomposition[V[-a], {h, n}]" , i faced to a problem ???, i will send you my file.

The vector "V[a]" did not define in your file.

Hello,

the result you get is correct. Note that in a notebook any expression wrapped by xAct`xTensor`Scalar is formatted as enclosed within a pair of red rounded brackets. You can find the meaning of the "Scalar" head by reading section 10.3 of xTensor documentation notebook or looking into the on-line help of the symbol Scalar, like this:

Thank you very much for your answers, in continuing my work i have the following problem : may you answer to me , why this error occur?

During evaluation of In[26]:= ReplaceAll::reps: {Projectormetrich\[RightArrow]ProjectWith[metrich]} is neither a list of replacement rules nor a valid dispatch table, and so cannot be used for replacing. >>
