How to ignore "inhomogeneous indices" in MakeRule?

Hi,

is there a possibility to disable the "inhomogeneous indices" error when using MakeRule? A concrete example when this would be useful is e.g. the case for circle reduction of a certain action or if one wants to work with semi-explicit metrics, where some components are given explicitly.

I know that xCoba is intended to work with explicit components, but what about the semi-explicit case? Is that possbile?
