I am working on some different class of theories, closely related to the Einstein-Hilbert action, along with some other fields(scalar, vector, and tensor). I could not get the variational derivative varD to work.

Can someone give me a link or show me the code to a Lagrangian(preferably something like Reissner-Nordström) solved, ie, with its equations of motion using this varD. I tried googling I didn't find anything. I apologize for asking you to spoonfeed me.

Hi,

Some of the examples in this github repo use VarD. Specifically, the notebook 'Lagrangian-variation-xPert-VarD.nb' shows GR and a scalar-tensor theory; and the notebook 'EDGB-and-DCS-EOMs-and-C-tensors-simplified.nb' shoes Einstein-dilaton-Gauss-Bonnet and dynamical Chern-Simons gravity.
