Before I opened the box I was skeptical, after my three previous successive failures. But when I took it out of the box, I thought: Eureka! It is *exactly* what I'd been looking for. The fabric is ultra soft but not transparent; it clings in a very flattering way without revealing too much! The length can be adjusted by pulling the dress up or down: it just "ruches" nicely. I will have to go to the store to get a proper strapless bra. Also, if you're going to wear it alone (which I did today for a few hours), it will need a tight slip or shapewear (something that won't wrinkle because it will show through). All in all, I'm ecstatic with my new white dress and already received several compliments. If you're looking for a white dress that's stylish, cool, very comfortable and that can be dressed up or down, buy it!
