ASICS® 'GEL-Kayano® 20' Running Shoe (Men) I've had numerous pairs of the 19s, and now am on my 2nd pair of 20s, the shoe is largely better than the 19s(for anyone interested in the 20s). Overall, a great shoe to run in, very durable and more comfortable than the 19s. I run a lot and I know I can count on these to live on when the mileage gets high in the season, a plus for active runners. Only complaint, the shoe sometimes feels like it is too much, or heavy, and for the price you can afford the gt 1000 and others. This is a shoe for the more elite runner type that need all of everything including support. I'm moving to the nimbus 16 because it is slightly lighter, has more cushioning and more neutral at a more fair price. My advice, check out other shoes made by asics, because the kayano could be too much at times. I'd be greatly interested, though, to see the 21s when they come out, and try them out. If you are deciding whether or not to buy ASICS® 'GEL-Kayano® 20' Running Shoe (Men), It fairly cheap in the retailer. Getting so much better all the time ... "The only complaint is that a pair only last my wife just a little over 3 weeks. They are a good shoe due to the fact she is flat footed. She was in new balance an they were OK but caused planters, so I decided to switch her to asics. The have greatly helped her feet an speed. But my wife is obsessed with running so every morning before work she runs 12 miles m-f and then on Saturday and Sunday its 20 miles each day. The shoes only last 3 weeks an she went from being a heel striker to running on the ball an toes. Just wish they would last a little longer.
