Allen Edmonds 'The Jefferson' Wingtip Oxford (Men)I bought the Jeffersons in Walnut. They are the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. They look really fantastic! I was initially skeptical about paying the extra money for the Jeffersons, but my girlfriend convinced me they looked better. Having owned them for a couple of months, I can say with certainty that they are definintely worth the extra money.<\/span><\/div> They're also really comfortable. I have bad knees and find that if I'm wearing dress shoes, rather than sneakers, at the end of the day my knees are very stiff and I'm in quite a bit of pain. That is not the case with these shoes. I was on my feet, walking around in them for more than ten hours last week, and my knees were fine afterward. Based on how great these shoes have been, I'll be buying another pair of Independence line shoes soon (as soon as I save up for them). I shopped all over the internet and this store had the perfect cost so far with free delivery. it could get five stars. Allen Edmonds 'The Jefferson' Wingtip Oxford (Men) Reviews"I have the Jefferson Wingtip in Walnut Calf. After several trials I am satisfied with the fit(8.5E) though I normally wear 9.5D since they do run long and narrow. My biggest complaint is the Walnut calf skin catches ugly spots when soaked even for a few minutes and these don't go away no matter how much polish you put on them. It should come with a warning or something. It's a beautiful and very comfortable shoe, but once you've those spots you don't want to wear it unless you're wearing them in dark. It kinda defeats the purpose of getting the shoe in Walnut. I've Macneil and Park Ave as well but the Jeffersons are my favorite. The others are just not as comfortable for a long days wear. Here's hoping this warning will help other buyers." |
