NOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO AREN'T RECEIVING THE NEWSLETTER (IT HAPPENS FROM TIME TO TIME).  I never remove people from the newsletter unless you request it or want to really try to be obnoxious.  LOL.  Even when remove someone, I would let them know that I'm going to do it and why.  Anyway, if this ever happens to you, first check your junk mail to see if it's going there.  It will sometimes be diverted because I add links, or it's long, or maybe a dance title has a politically-incorrect word, etc.   If it isn't going to your junk mail, then add to your address book the address that the newsletter goes to world-line-da...@googlegroups.com
and that may help it from going to spam.

If you are going away for an extended period of time, as long as you are a current member of my mailing list, you can ask me to set you to receive NO EMAIL and it will put your mail on hold until you return but you will still be able to read the newsletter online by going to this link:  http://groups.google.com/group/world-line-dance-newsletter
You do need to ask me to restart your mail when you return because I can't keep track.

All of the newsletters are at the above link since I started using Google Groups a few years ago so if you want to read an old one or look up something, you can find it there along with all the past surveys for the same amount of time.

Subject: Thanks for yesterday and more
From:
dancewit...@gmail.com

Hi everyone,

Thank you
A big thank you to everyone who came and supported my workshop yesterday, we had a fantastic day and I have had some wonderful feedback.  As I've mentioned to some of you already, I truly feel like I belong to the Walking Dead today, brain, feet, head, body all feel like mush lol but it was so worth it :-)

For those of you who missed out, all the dances that I taught will also be taught at Fun In The Sun in a few weeks!

Special thanks to Diane and Sandy again for helping me set up, tear down and organize all the food etc as well as my Momma D (Donna) who helped with all the packets and everything else I throw at her :-)  I couldn't do it without you all.

Another thank you to Janis Graves for keeping everyone dancing at the Barn later that night, always so much fun and she makes everyone feel so welcome.

October workshops
There are already 30 registrations in for October 22nd workshop, I have put the flyer and registration form on my website for anyone who wants to sign up: http://dancewithrachael.com/Dance_with_Rachael_McEnaney/Orlando_October_Workshop.html

Lost Item
Did anyone leave a blue denim shirt at the venue?  It was on the right hand side (kitchen side) on the back of a chair...if you did I have it.

Dance Sheets
I will be releasing step sheets periodically this week to my website as I have to get the videos up and translated into French etc.

Sandy's birthday and retirement party
For those of you who are coming on July 9th please start sending me your 10 requests as soon as possible to dancewit...@gmail.com because I will be your DJ and preparing a playlist (I can't make a playlist without these, or I'll play the Tush Push all day ;-P).  If you have not RSVP'd please let Diane know healthm...@aol.com as there are no walk in's because they are serving food etc.

The Lip Stuff ;-)
For those of you who missed it, you can check it out on my new website www.lipslumiere.com and also on the facebook group where there are more pics/videos etc https://www.facebook.com/groups/lipslumiere/  (for those of you already part of the group, please invite your friends to join, I'm so impressed by this product).

Well, I think that is all from me, it might be time to go take a nap or pass out on the couch :-)

I will see you lots of you again in a few weeks with my Australian sister in tow ;-) with love xoxo

Had a great time as always at Rachael’s workshop in Orlando this weekend! I’m always exhausted after a workshop “workout” with Rachael but also appreciative of how she continues to give us all her very best every single time.  The day’s dances are posted on my Facebook page and already in several posts here in the newsletter. It was nice having Carol Craven with us this time too!  We left a little early so I could get home to celebrate my daughter Carla’s birthday, so apologies if I didn't say goodbye!  Thanks again Rachael, for another good time and your expert instruction. Also want to commend all those gals who help you every time with lunch, the door, and sales, etc.  Support staffs make it happen!

Summer Break is July and August for my classes, so June ends the dance season. Many local dancers are gone now until Fall, and it’s no surprise with the high heat temperatures we’ve been having already!

A short review of the latest Improver & Intermediate dances I’ve taught recently include:
Harden Up Princess by Simon Ward, Just Have Faith by Gary O’Riley (one of my FITS teaches), Street Soul (my all-time favorite classic by Masters in Line) and we got to dance it yesterday at Rachael’s workshop along with my 2nd favorite, Jessie James! High on Loving You by Will Craig (my 2nd FITS teach), From the Ground Up by Rachael and Rob Fowler, St 1 by Rachael, Solo Amor, by Fowler/Scott/Buckley/Madge, Lay Low by Darren Bailey, Sunshine in My Pocket by Amy Glass, So Just Dance Dance Dance by Jose V/Guillaume Richard, Humble and Kind by Gail Smith, and added classic dances Cruisin’ by Neil Hale to various songs and Islands in the Stream.

SATURDAY – OCTOBER 15, 2016   Ray and I invite you to our
CELEBRATE LIFE LINE DANCE SOCIAL/PARTY/FUNDRAISER!   We have several close friends presently enduring Cancer treatments. You may have someone in your life dealing with the trauma of a Cancer diagnosis. You may become a caretaker, prayer warrior, or a patient yourself.  We decided to enjoy today with a thankful heart and throw a party with ALL the proceeds going to Cancer agencies that provide care.

It’s a social time with friends to great line dance music, Ray’s cooking his famous Barbecue lunch with all the trimmings, lots of auction baskets, photo shots gift bags!  It will be held at the Ocala Livestock Pavillion here in Ocala.  “After-Party” follows at our Barn around 7PM.  You can park a camper at the Barn if you wish.
It’s our time to CELEBRATE LIFE!  All the information is on our website at www.Rhythm-in-my-soles.com
This is  one-time event so come dance with us!

See y’all at Fun in the Sun in a couple of weeks!

NOTE FROM ME:  Mark your clendar for Celebrate Life Social.  Marilyn has some great surprises for you and it will be a super good time.  I have it on my calendar already!!

SUBJECT: Dance with Matt ("Where The Heck Is Matt") Harding
FROM: Lisa McCammon

Matt will be filming a dance segment in Orlando on Saturday, July 2nd at Lake Eola Park (I'm assuming rain or shine). Details in his email, which I've past?ed below. I love watching his videos, which I think demonstrate the joy of dance across all cultures. I have no idea how it will work or how long it will take; I would guess that if he starts close to the 11:00am target, it might take half an hour--if you've seen his videos (just search for Where The Heck Is Matt on YouTube), you know that it's not about the choreography, lol. It would be a fun thing to do if you have company, especially kids, over the holiday weekend. Even if it takes an hour, there's still plenty of time to do other activities the rest of the day. In fact, Lake Eola Park is inot far from the Beardall Center. So after the video you can run over to do some REAL dancing with Lindy Bowers on a REAL floor with REAL air conditioning.--

I'm dancing in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, July 2nd for the new "Where the Heck is Matt?" video. The meet-up is on the grassy peninsula in the northeast corner of Lake Eola Park at 11am. I'm inviting people all over Florida. I know it's a long drive for many of you. You're welcome to bring friends and family. I've been asked if it would be okay to wear Pride colors or bring a Pride flag, and the answer is OF COURSE!

I don't know which shots will make it into the next big dancing video, but I'll be uploading all the clips to YouTube in separate small videos, and there will be a supercut that includes everything I don't put in the main video. But whether your segment makes it in or not, it's still a fun way to spend a Saturday morning. Come out and have a good time.

When we're done, I'll stick around so I can say hello and dance one-on-one with everyone who attends. If you want to dance with me and take a picture or video of your own, just ask.

I could use a volunteer cameraperson to film for me. No real experience required. You’ll need to know your way around an iPhone and be available for about an hour after our start time, but that’s about it. I’ll hand you my phone and a tripod and give you a quick briefing. If you have a small stepladder you can bring with you to film from a few feet up, that would be helpful.

I look forward to dancing with you soon! --Matt
