email:

Our next "Sunday Social" will actually be on SATURDAY, Sept 10 from 12:30pm to 5:00pm at the Whirl & Twirl Dance Club in Orlando.  The club is located at 6949 Venture Circle, Orlando, FL 32807.  Admission to the Social will be $15 for the day. Many of you have joined us there in past years and will remember what a really nice facility and superb dance floor this is.

We will be welcoming some out of town visitors on that day.  Jessie Chan and friends from California will be in Orlando on that day on their way home from the "5 Guys" dance cruise and they will be joining us.  We hope that you can come too!  You do not need to register in advance but please send me your top 5-10 dance requests by email if you plan to come.

We will provide complimentary bottled water, coffee and light snacks.  You are welcome to bring your own food or non-alcoholic beverages if you wish.
We will plan to teach two new intermediate dances during the day.  Those will be announced just before the Social.  The remainder of the time will be social dancing by request.  Every few days I will update the list on the website with the requests that I receive.  I will also provide a list on the website in the order the dances will be played a couple of days before the event.  Please send in your requests as soon as possible.  We would love to have you join us!!

PS:  We will have a group going out for dinner after the Social.  You are invited to join us if you are able.

Subject:  Choreographers using RF and LF on step sheets
Date:  August 26, 2016
From:  Jean Cain
jeanc...@yahoo.com

I have been a caregiver for the last few years and have been unable to read the Newsletters on a regular basis.  This subject might have already been discussed and voted on.  But I am curious as to why some choreographers are now using RF and LF in their step sheets.  To me it is unnecessary clutter so I white-out every F to make it easier to read.  The directions are always for feet unless otherwise designated for hips, knees, arms, hands, etc.  I would appreciate your feedback.
Thanks,
Jean Cain

SUBJECT:  WHERE TO DANCE IN THE LAKEWOOD/DENVER AREA?
FROM:
adc...@gmail.com

Hello,
I am in Denver (Lakewood area) indefinitely while my son recovers from a car accident.  I've line danced in Asheville, my home town, for the past 2-3 years and am probably at an improver level.

Any suggestions as to where/when I can find  place to dance?  Definitely need a break from hospital visits.

Thanks,
Ann Cowden
