SUBJECT:  LET'S DANCE DAY SOCIAL - November 26th

Our LET'S DANCE DAY SOCIAL WAS scheduled for Nov. 12th.  Due to conditions beyond my control at Beardall, we have to change the date to Nov. 26th.  But, the good news is that we will get to practice more dances, and BONUS.... dance off the Thanksgiving pie!!!!  So, we are changing the date in Nov. to Nov. 26 and we still have Dec. 10th too.  Please pass the word so that no one shows up on the 12th.  I am very sorry to have to make this last minute change, but it is beyond my control. 

 

I hope to see you on Nov. 26th for our November LET'S DANCE DAY social.  (and you get to have an extra piece of pie since you will dance it off!!!) This year the TG pies won't stay on our thighs!!!

 

Then I hope to see you only two weeks later at the December 10th LDD too!!!!

PLEASE    JOIN  US FOR  THIS  FUN   PART OF  THE  WEEKEND.      GRAB  A "PRO"  -    PICK  A  DANCE  YOU  LOVE  ----------- AND DANCE  FOR   1  1/2   MIN.         YOU  CAN SIGN UP  ON  FRI.  MORNING  WITH  ARLINE -  $10   A DANCE   -     AND  YOU  CAN DANCE   TWO DANCES.    THERE  CAN BE UP TO THREE  DANCING  WITH  A PRO   ------------   YOU  WILL BE JUDGED  AS   "ONE".

THERE   ARE  FIVE  JUDGES - THEY  WILL JUDGE YOU  ON  ENTHUSIASM    AND  HOW  WELL  YOU DANCE FOR  THE  LEVEL OF THE DANCE  THAT  YOU  CHOOSE.        YOU    MUST SO  ONE  WALL   VANILLA   AND THEN  YOU CAN DO  ANY  VARIATIONS  THAT  YOU  LIKE.    THE "PRO"   MUST  DANCE     ALL   THE  DANCE  AS  VANILLA.

THE COMPETITION  WILL BE  HELD  AROUND   10    A.M.  ON  SAT.           YOU   WILL  NEED  A  WEEKEND  PASS  TO COMPETE.

Hello Dancers!

 

There are just 13 days left ... it's almost that time once again for dancers to gather at the beautiful Westgate Hotel and Casino for the annual Vegas Dance Explosion!! We officially kick off Tuesday, November 8th, with registration at Noon, ending Sunday night November 13 (well actually till the wee hours of the morning Monday!). There'll be 5 Ballrooms running simultaneously with specialty and technique workshops, a ballroom dedicated to Beginner Dancers, Intermediate and Advanced workshops, Choreography Competition, our own Line dance Lobby where there will be food available exclusively for our attendees with open dancing all day; themed evening dance parties, all request dance rooms, special performances by our illustrious team of Instructors, including performances by Roy Verdonk and the Roy Verdonk dancers; plus much, much more!

- Flashmob dance Friday : AMERICAN KIDS! Let's fill the Westgate lobby once again and show them how it's done!!
- Do you know Jo Thompson's classic dance "Come Dance With Me" sung by Nancy Hays... come join us Thursday night and fill the dance floor as Nancy Hays sings "Come Dance With Me"  LIVE ! She will also be introducing her new release "Mr Santa" to which Jo and Frank Trace have choreographed their newest dance "Mr Santa".
- Once again, we have arranged special ticket prices for attendees of the Vegas Dance Explosion to see two shows presented at The Westgate: "Prince" on Wednesday night at 9 pm and SEXXY on Thursday night at 10:30 pm for just $20 each. We will be taking reservations for these shows at our registration desk.

Any mailed in registrations must be postmarked by this Saturday, October 29th in order to receive and process your registration.

 

Start packing now... and remember, what happens in Vegas does NOT have to stay in Vegas!
