NOTE FROM ME: It looks like people are having funny at the Windy City Event in Chicago. Did you see who the "MYSTERY INSTRUCTOR" is? Okay, you can start guessing now and I'll post the answer at the bottom of the newsletter hidden somewhere so you have to find it. LOL.

Let's Dance Day is this coming Saturday, Oct. 7th!!! I hope you can come dance with us. The information and playlist are both attached!!! I encourage you to print the playlist so that you can follow along/highlight the dances you know/mark ones you like the looks of so that you can ask your instructor to teach them, mark your calendar for the future ones, etc. etc. Bring your friends so they can see how much fun we have and come back again too. I post the playlist on my website a couple of weeks before LDD each month so that you can practice those you want to be able to dance.
We have 4 hours of dancing fun from noon to 4 p.m. I try to keep a good mix of beginner thru intermediate going all afternoon, plus lots of floor splits so no one has to sit long!! We have fun new dances as well as plenty of old fav's. If you have a request, let me know (via email) and I will try to include it for the next LDD. Be sure to bring your own water/soft drinks/lunch/snacks.
LDD is all about having fun with friends.....and meeting new friends too. We almost always have two dances going (intermediate in front of the overhead icicle lights and beginner behind them).
LDD will be at the Beardall Sr. Center at 800 Delaney Ave, Orlando....at the corners of Gore St. and Delaney and just off Orange Ave. It is a big 3 story brick building that looks like a school (it once was). There is parking all around the building and even in the bank next door, but use the handicapped entrance on the Gore St. side as other doors are locked. We are in the 2nd floor ballroom and there is an elevator.
Since we are finished at 4, you will have time to go get a bite to eat and then go to your other favorite place to 💃 the night away!!!! Your 👣 will be 😁!!!

First, my heart goes out to all the victims and family members and friends of the horrific event in Las Vegas last weekend. I was sitting in my hotel room at the Oakland, California airport when I first saw the news on TV. I hope and pray that all my friends in Henderson and Las Vegas are safe. I am thinking of you and will be seeing many of you later this month and again in November. I just returned from my European Workshop Tour and last weekend workshops in the San Francisco Bay Area. It has been an amazing 5 weeks dancing with groups in Warsaw, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Northern California !!
I am preparing to leave on my West Coast USA Tour in less than 2 weeks and I’m very excited to announce all the workshops that have been arranged so far. If you are in Las Vegas, Southern California or Florida, I would love to see you if you can make any of these workshops in your area. If you don’t see one close to you and might be interested in organizing a mini workshop in your area, I may be able to schedule you in on one of the days or evenings your group meets. I will be renting a car on this tour and will be based in Hermosa Beach. This will allow me to travel up to 2 or 3 hours in almost any direction. Want a great gift for yourself??? If not now, when??? Will you regret it later if you don't go to Europe when everything is taken care of for you and you can travel with a great group of fun dancers ???
Hope you're considering a trip to Europe in June, 2018. This 2-week tour will start in Venice, then on to Switzerland, Austria, and Germany and is filled with sightseeing, and scenery you'll never forget. Since most of the travelers are line dancers, you couldn't find better fellow travelers.... always ready for the next adventure, full of energy, not wanting to miss anything, and ready to make friends, with just a tad of crazy stirred in! SUBJECT: WHAT GEOFF & CELIA ARE TEACHING IN THE UK
Very quiet at class this week as there were lots on holiday. The new dance was one from Maggie G “OPEN YOUR EYES”, a 64 count, 2 wall Intermediate dance that got a big thumbs up from the class. They are also loving last week’s dance “STORY OF A HEART” (Michelle Risley), think this should be a big hit for Michelle. Other recently taught dances that are filling our floor are “BEAUTIFUL WONDERFUL” (Debbie Rushton & Jannie Tofte Anderson), “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” (Ria Vos) and “TIME TO SURRENDER” (Rachael & Simon), so many good dances about at the moment it’s such a difficult job picking when you only teach one per week.
