NOTE FROM ME: I want to send my condolences to the friends and loved ones of Jan Wyllie who lost her battle with cancer. She was a force in the line dance history in Australia and influenced many people over the years. I just heard recently about how ill she was and wanted to share this sad news for those of you who didn't know she passed away. If you would like to send a note to her partner, Annie Bradbury, here is her email address.

Subject: Line Dance Celebration Workshop, Tampa, FL, Saturday March 25.
From: lizs...@tampbay.rr.com
We closed pre-registrations for the “Line Dance Celebration” workshop at Northdale Recreation Center in Tampa to be held on Saturday, March 25. We reached the maximum of pre-registrations (250). However, we will accept walk-ins (registering the morning of the workshop) as long as there is space available. I expect there will be plenty of space in the beginner/improver room, but not as much in the easy intermediate or intermediate rooms.
Instructors will be Joan Gregoire, Sheri Hurley, Lynda Licht, Marilyn McNeal and Gail Smith, DJs will be Vince Gregoire and Lynda Licht. The instructors selected some great dances to teach, covering all levels.
Upon signing in that morning, you may purchase a lunch ticket for $6. Lunch will consist of John Erb’s “Meal Deal” (BBQ, baked beans, potato salad).
SHOES – I suggest you wear suede sole shoes. The floors were refinished in December and January and are still a bit sticky.
Doors will open at 9:00. Workshop will be 9:30am – 4:00pm. At 9:30 we will have the welcoming session and warm up dance. The first class will start at 10:00am. Northdale Recreation Center is located at 15550 Spring Drive in Tampa, Fl. Here is the rec. center’s website - http://www.hillsboroughcounty.org/en/locations/northdale-park-and-recreation-center
The recreation center is composed of 3 buildings and a park. When you turn into Pine Street you will see the small building on the right. There is some parking there, but most of the parking and the 2 gyms are around the back. The first gym you encounter is the small gym, where intermediate classes will be held. The larger gym is called Bill Castens Gymnasium and that is where we will have the opening session, lunch and the beginner and improver classes.
If you have any questions or need additional information, don’t hesitate to contact me, Liz Smith, at lizs...@tampabay.rr.com.
Hope to see you there!
Liz

Hi! My daughter has just recently moved to Sebastian, FL. I am trying to find a place that has line dancing instructors. She had not danced in a while but would love to get back in to doing it. Any names and/or places in that area. Melbourne and Vero would be closest to her if there is nothing in Sebastian.
Thanks! My contact info is:
