Sunday 8/2  PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE TODAY!!

SUBJECT:  Dancin' with Marilyn, Ocala, FL
FROM:  Marilyn McNeal,
BoarsN...@aol.com

Sorry for the unanswered emails, I'll catch up next week.
We've had an unexpected emergency this past week. Ray was diagnosed
with a macular hole in his right eye and is scheduled for immediate surgery
Monday in Tampa. Ironically, four years ago to this very week, his left eye had a macular
hole. That surgery was not completely successful. The days after surgery
are critical and once again he will have to be in the vitrectomy chair 24/7 for several days.

Please put Ray and his surgeon on your prayer list. We need a miracle this time.
We'd really appreciate your prayers.

PS. I will still be at Carol's & Diane's social this Sunday to teach Riversoul.

NOTE FROM ME:  Thank you so much, Marilyn and you can reat assured you will have a bunch of people praying for a successful surgery for Ray!!  I know how tough the recovery was last time.  I hope there is something everyone can do to help him pass the time so let us know what that would be.

SUBJECT: NEW HOT FEET VIDEO
FROM:
danci...@gmail.com

I was distressed to hear from several people that they could not view the videos of my dance because of copyright issues. I have uploaded a new video of Hot Feet that should be

viewable everywhere. It's on YouTube or you can find it on my Copperknob step sheet page. Look for the photo of me in the pink top. Thanks to everyone for their interest in my dance,

and to Lindy Bowers who taught it recently at FITS.

SUBJECT:  Dance reviews from Alan B & Jacqui Jax in the UK

Class news @ Alan B's Nuline Dance... This week all classes got a new dance (one class got two!)

We have been dancing SINNER (Hadisubroto Roy & Roy Verdonk) for several weeks now in our evening classes so I decided to teach it to my Day timer's - we did have fun! :-)

HONEY I'M GOOD (Adrian Lefebour & Jessica Lamb) - Alan taught this last night to another great 'catchy' track from Andy Grammer (the first 16 counts not to be confused with Back in Line!!) not too difficult to teach with a tag (twice) which didn't cause any problems, looking forward to dancing it again next week ;-)

GIRL CRUSH (Alison Johnstone & Rachael McEnaney-White) - I loved this music as soon as I heard it and have danced it a couple of times socially... I was a bit worried about the timing (for teaching) but the challenge was set... I just had to share this lovely dance with our classes... I'm so pleased with the feedback (one class danced it 3 times) :-) :-)

We are also enjoying some great dances at all levels... Lipstick Powder and Paint... Until The Dawn... The Bomp...  I Got Fire... Don't Feel Like Dancing... Wave on Wave... Darling Hold My Hand... Snow In Vegas... Listen To The Music... A Dance With No Name... Shades of Passion... Uptown Funk... We Only Live Once... One Track Mind... So So Dangerous... After The Storm... Yes!... and many more including lots of  'not to be forgotten'  older dances too!!!

NOTE FROM ME:  I just saw a video of SINNER yesterday and it looks like SO MUCH FUN AND LOOKS EASY!!  Check it out with all the choreographers doing it.
