Wednesday 10/26/16. We had a fun Halloween party in Pinellas
Park, Fl last night. We didn't have too many people dress up but we
did have a very pretty Hawaiian and a witch with a beautiful hat and the
FOOD!! We did lots of reviews and had a great
time. Thanks for coming, everyone. We have so much fun every
week and our parties outdo themselves. People bring snacks and goodies to
share.
We hope you can join us the Monday after Tampa for the AFTER PARTY!!
See the note below in the newsletter for details. Stay an extra day and
enjoy the beautiful Tampa/Clearwater/St. Petersburg area and the After Party or
if you aren't going to Tampa, join us Monday night. It is getting close
and I'm so looking forward to it. We have Simon Ward here after a long
break and so many other talented choreographers coming as well as this will be Guyton's LAST time teaching in Florida at an
event. I can't tell you how much he is going to be missed.
He has been an incredible influence in our world and he is a personality as
large as his talent. We love you, Guyton, and hope you will at least come
and play with us in the future. My hope is that you will take a break,
regroup, and do what everyone else has done when life comes along and makes
changes -- COME BACK. I have seen very few people leave the dance world
and stay away forever. Sometimes they just need a long break and to know
the door is always open. Whatever, we wish you the very best and you will
be missed more than you probably know and I think you will miss all of us more
than you probably know YET!!

The Tampa Bay Line Dance Classic is just more than
one week away and we are looking forward to seeing many face that we have not
seen in quite some time! We have so many friends that come to this event
from all over Florida, especially our friends from north of here that we see
maybe twice a year! Hopefully we will see many of you at our party!
Looking forward to dancing with Simon Ward in Tampa as
it has been way too long and not looking forward to dancing with Guyton for the
last time. We here in this area remember Guyton first starting out in our line
dance world. We loved you then and still do and wish you well.
Our after party is so much fun as we get to dance and
maybe review dances taught in Tampa or previous events or workshops. We
will have the step book and all the music that night!
There will be plenty of snacky foods and water but if you would like
anything else to drink feel free to bring it and if you would like to bring
something to share, feel free!!
If you need a ride from the hotel please let us know and we will try to
arrange for your ride and also remember if you use UBER you are only charged for
each car and not each person.

Have you checked out the new Line Dance Marathon website?!? All of the information for 2017 is up and ready for your perusal! We know you like to plan ahead, so we wanted to let you know so that you have plenty of time to organize your trip to this amazing, not-to-be-missed dance event being held June 1 - 4, 2017 in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina U.S.A.
You can print your 2017 registration form, book your hotel room, check out
the event information and schedule, and use the Explore Raleigh and Durham links
to see what the area has to offer.
Our theme this year is “Night of the Dancing Dead”, a throwback to the
original 1968 zombie movie “Night of the Living Dead”. Make sure you check
out the movie to decide what your Saturday night look will be. Will you be
a zombie that crawled out of the ground or someone who stepped out of 1960’s
small town America? Either way, it’s going to be a blast. :-)
We are offering two styles of T-shirts – ladies’ fitted style and
traditional men’s style. Please keep in mind that T-shirts are pre-order
only. You can place your order on the event registration form.
Be sure to keep track of the two registration deadlines:
~ The VIP All Access Pass - must be post marked no later than February 1st, 2017.
~ All other passes must be post marked no later than May 1st, 2017 to avoid the price increase.
Also, we will be releasing the confirmed roster of amazing instructors very soon, so keep an eye out for that big announcement. Don’t forget to check out our Facebook Page for up to the minute information.

SUBJECT: LET'S DANCE DAY SOCIAL - November

Our LET'S DANCE DAY SOCIAL WAS scheduled for Nov. 12th. I just got an email from the Beardall Mgr. saying there was a conflict and I could either cancel LDD for Nov. or have it downstairs. The downstairs room is much too small for our group, so that is not an option really. Nov. 5th is Tampa, Nov. 12 and 19 are something Beardall is having and while the 26th is open, it is right after Thanksgiving and only two weeks before the Dec. LDD. Soooo, I asked the class and the majority said they would come on Nov. 26th. We will get to dance off the Thanksgiving pie!!!! So, we are changing the date in Nov. to Nov. 26 and we still have Dec. 10th too. Please pass the word so that no one shows up on the 12th. I am very sorry to have to make this last minute change, but it is beyond my control.
I hope to see you on Nov. 26th for our November LET'S DANCE DAY social. (and you get to have an extra piece of pie since you will dance it off!!!) This year the TG pies won't stay on your thighs!!!

The 8th Annual Nickel City Line Dance Classic is set for Saturday,
September 23, 2017. Guest instructors for the event are: Vivienne
Scott from Toronto, and Zandra McCallum from Burlington.
I know it is a long way off, but mark your calendars for this event!!
It is the only event held in Northern Ontario, so if you feel it is too far to
travel to southern Ontario, this event is for you!!
Our fund raising charity recipient has not yet been decided, but Event
Directors will make a decision well before the event.
