There is still room for a few more dancers to join us in Tampa for our Line Dance Celebration workshop on Saturday, February 10. You can still register online by 12:00 noon on Monday, February 5. Although t-shirts have already been ordered, a few extra were ordered, so you may still be able to get a t-shirt and lunch included in your registration fee, but your selection choice is not guaranteed. Over 200 dancers have registered so far! Don’t miss your chance for a fun day of dancing with friends and taking classes from our wonderful instructors.
When : Saturday, February 10 from 9:30am – 3:30pm. Doors will open at 9:00am.
Where: Northdale Recreation Center located at 15550 Spring Pine Drive, Tampa, FL
Instructors: Lindy Bowers, Sheri Hurley, Lynda Licht, Marilyn McNeal, John Robinson and Gail Smith. DJs Vince & Joan Gregoire in the main dance room, Lynda Licht in the intermediate room.

We may have a few walk-in spots if we do not reach capacity by Monday. Walk-in price will be $25, if available, and may not include lunch or t-shirt.
The instructors are still finalizing their dance selections. I plan to post the schedule with the list of dances early next week. I will also let you know if we are able to accept any walk-ins.

Subject: Tuesday High- Beg. to Inter.- Advanced Line Dance Class Pinellas Park February 6th.
We had a fun class last week and celebrated January birthdays. February ones are coming up soon so more CAKE! LOL. Diane will be having her operation on Wednesday so she won't be there Tuesday but we all wish her a quick recovery and super successful operation. I'll keep you posted. If you would like to send her a card, let me know and I'll send you her address.
LAST WEEK:
Lynda taught MY HEART IS IN HAVANA, by Bradley Mather, and she did a great job. Almost everyone stayed for the whole dance and we will be reviewing it for the next few weeks. Love this dance.
Liz taught Story by Maddison Glover. This is a nice improver-type dance to country music and everyone liked it. She will review it this week
Ann Reviewed Eyes for You by Jo Thompson and Sweet Caroline and everyone likes these easy little dances, too.
Sheri reviewed Hurts Like a Cha Cha and we all like doing this one. It will be in open this week.
Ann is going to review/teach All Katchi, All Night Long, by Kerri Maus. It was taught at the social. It's a fun dance that everyone will enjoy.
Lynda is also going to review Hot Damn, by Rachael and Scott. We didn't have time last week so this will be a good review.
See you Tuesday, everyone. If you have requests, let Cheryl know when you get there and hopefully people are bringing back good ones from Big Bang. I saw a few that I liked.

The Showdown
This is an ANYTHING GOES competition and it is HUGE! $1,500 in cash prizes. The Solo’s / Duo’s / Team’s will be competing against each other for the $600 first place prize and $300 prize for the one with the most audience votes. You get a total of (6) six minutes on the floor to see if you’re good enough to take home the cash. Rules are. ……There are no rules and ANYONE can compete! This is the show of all shows. It’s a competition that you won’t want to miss on Saturday night in the main ballroom where the audience takes part in the judging process!
Thursday’s Kick Off Dance
If you have purchased a Premium or Weekend Pass, the Thursday night dance is included in the price of your pass. If not, the Thursday night dance is only $10.
Saturday Dinner
Once again we will be offering a Pre-Showdown dinner at 6:00. This is included in your Premium Pass or if you are purchasing a day pass, the dinner can be added for $40. (Register for the Premium Pass and get preferred seating)
