Why?

I am trying to use wordle but my computer is telling me that java needs my permission to make my wordle so i clicked on the link to go to java and it won't let me update or install or do anything, it says that java needs my permission. can someone please help me with this????

I just returned from an Apple Store Genius Bar appointment for a Java problem that sounds like yours.  They tried un-installing Java and re-installing it but ended up having to do a clean install of the OS   So you may need the same kind of help.

Are you using a classroom computer that requires an administrator to update your Java? That may be the issue.

Hi! I don't know if the problem was fixed. A little tab came up saying that I needed to update JAVA. It had another option to "allow this time" or something of the sort. I clicked that and a window came up, click OK. It takes awhile but it will work.
