mApp Your Way 2016: Esri India's App Development Challenge

Check out mApp Your Way 2016, 2nd Edition of Esri India’s Annual App Development Challenge. This is a Pan India competitive GIS application development program that engages students of prestigious academic Institutions to build socially relevant apps using ArcGIS technology.

The first edition of the mApp Your Way 2015 was a huge success with our team winning the first prize for the application – “Crowd Sourced Route Navigation and Pothole Monitoring”. Anna University and UPES bagged the first & second runner up trophy respectively.

The program will provide you a platform to showcase your skills and capabilities in GIS technology. You could develop meaningful applications that can create a positive impact on citizens, societies, environment and above all make a difference to India!

The deadline for submitting the abstracts for your application is March 30, 2016. The deadline for submitting your completed application is August 31, 2016. The finalist teams will get an opportunity to demonstrate their applications at the 17th Esri India User Conference 2016 which is being planned in December 2016 in New Delhi.

The CSRE Department, here at IITB, has planned an informative session on April 01. 2016. The session would introduce you to the structure of the challenge and also about the various Esri's technologies, that could be used in your applications. More information about this session would be conveyed soon.
