Hello all,

Prof. Yuliy Baryshnikov from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is conducting a GIAN course on topological data analysis in IIT Bombay during 12-24 of this month. This course will be
of great interest for data scientists and students working on machine learning, biological networks, pattern recognition, control theory, communication, and signal processing among many other topics.

Venue: VMCC Room 21.
Time: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 1100-1300 and Wed: 1100-1300 + 1430-1630 each of
the two weeks.

By the time of writing this email, Prof. Baryshnikov recalled the basics of topological manifolds; the
key content is yet to be touched.
