Tech Treasure Hunt

Hi all,

Students' Technical Activities Body (STAB) invites you all to participate in Tech Treasure Hunt on 16th March (Sunday) night from 9:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Registrations will start from 8:30 pm at SAC front gate, however the hunt will start from 9:00 pm only. Prizes worth Rs.10,000 are at stake!
In the view of making the hunt more interesting and 'technical' we have introduced some changes in the way it is conducted. Following is a rough summary of the rules of Tech Treasure Hunt 2015 :-
The treasure to be hunted are STAB Tech Coins!
To start with, all teams (maximum size 4) will get a certain amount of STAB Tech Coins.
All teams will be given a first clue which they will have to decode and find the location where they can try for their first win.
On completing a task, each team will in turn have found a certain amount of coins. The number of coins will vary according to how well the team has done the task.
If team is unable to do the task, it can pay some coins to the managers at the place (Think of these managers as the dragons protecting the treasure :) ). On getting paid, these dragons will give you little training on how to do the task and then you can complete it to get your treasure.
On finding the treasure (completing the task), you will find a hidden clue there itself or the dragon will hand over you the clue for next destination.
Go on to find new places and as much tech coins as you can before 11:30. The teams will have to report at SOM at 11:30.
Winner will be those who have hunted the most number of tech coins.
So come and enjoy with us a thrilling and adventurous night involved with lots of tech and fun.
