SSTeP- Final Demonstration

Hello all,

STAB in collaboration with Tech GSR is organizing a weeklong workshop, SSTeP (Solution to Socio-Technical Problems)  aimed at developing solution for smarter campus. The workshop started on 24th Dec and is coming to an end with around 10 successful projects. A lot of ideation, brainstorming has been done and effort has been put up by the teams.

 

Glimpse of the ideas:

- Smart street light

- Smart Latch

- Smart Kiosk

- Library Book Scanning

- Automatic Mess Lighting

- Cycle Pooling

- Controlling Mess food wastage

- Replacing Mess cards

Tomorrow i.e 1st December is the last day of the workshop where the teams will be judged and top 2 teams will have the privilege of exhibiting their idea at Makerfest 2014.

Demonstration cum Judging of the projects

Time:- 1:00 PM- 3:45 PM

Venue:- F C Kohli Auditorium

Judges:- Mrs. Aditi Gupta (Organizer, Makerfest)

                  Mr. Jobin Vijayan (Head, Arduino-India) 

Talk on "Tips and Tricks on optimal design" 

Speaker:- Mr. Jobin Vijyan, leader of the team from Arduino India

Time:- 4:00 PM- 5:00 PM

Venue:- F C Kohli Auditorium

Interactive session on Innovation and making

Speaker:- Kshitij Marwah, MIT media labs

Time:- 5:30 PM- 6:30 PM

Venue:- Tinkerer's lab
