Everytime I try to convert it says file not found, when it is a file that EXISTS in my video folder

Can you copy and paste the result from the command line. Go up to the upper left hand corner  for copy and paste

Whatever the cause is, you should put the videos you want to convert in a path without utf8 chars such as accented or special chars, and without spaces in the names. Try a folder like C:\videos; it must work.

Click the upper left hand corner on the command window. It will give you a menu. Edit->Mark. The in the window  press ctrl-A for select all. Go back to the menu and edit->copy

it is problems between the codec and the options.

ffmpeg spits out lots of errors, warning, and other info on every file. It's only the very last error that matters.

​did you specify any options? if so, take them out. If not try setting the audio channels to 7, 5, 2.​

the file i am trying to convert is MKV, does it not work with mkv? i have heard that it does i guess that is wrong

it works with mkv but ffmpeg chokes on different parameters from from file to file. Usually on the sound.

is there a way to convert without sound, and add the sound later with a different program?
