Hi all,

is there a solution, to merge some bigger Videofiles from a gopro cam under Linux together within a single job and also shrink them?

You can easily do this with Avidemux : Drop all files (in chronological order) onto the Avidemux form, then select "copy" for video and audio streams and the proper muxer (mkv is usually the best if the video is h264, but I know nothing about action cams).
You can also use MKVToolNix GUI: drop or load the files then right-click and select "concatenate files" in the drop-down menu.
