Hello,

Can you do a win32 build as I get an error saying winff.exe is not a valid win32 application.

WinFF-1.5.5-Setup.exe

Cheers Greg

I have just compiled a Win32 buiuld of WinFF. You can put it instead of the installed winff.exe and try whether it works (works on my Windows 7 machine, doubtlessly 32-bit but not tested on a 32-bit only machine).

"The reference was returned from the server"
is generally a deliberately cryptic message from Windows 10 Smart Screen, intended to prevent you from using third-party software.
You have to right-click on the executable, run the assistant, and answer that the program needs more permissions. After one or more tests, it will work.
I downloaded my 32-bit executable from the link, executed it from my Downloads folder (Lazarus.FPC executables need no dependency) and it still worked on windows 7

It's Windows 7, I did not think about enabling admin rights, the first time I encountered such an error. Now works, thank you;)

I downloaded it again, and It works on my Windows 7. But it is probably set to a lower "security" level than yours.

1. Did you notice the file is in a .zip and must be extracted beforehand? Some users don't see the extensions because they keep the "hide extension" Windows Explorer default feature.
2. Or maybe the zip file was altered by the download and you got a wrong zip.

I re-built the binary, without zipping it; you can get it from here:
