My first attempt at a x265 conversion preset attached

Would appreciate any improvements from our wonderfully creative community ;)

This one is just to get the ball rolling.

I plan to collect a ton of avi's to x265.

I'll try it. I already made one last year, with the command line:
-crf 25.0 -vcodec libx265 -preset slower -acodec libvo_aacenc -ar 48000 -b:a 160k -coder 1 -flags +loop -cmp chroma -partitions +parti4x4+partp8x8+partb8x8 -me_method hex -subq 6 -me_range 16 -g 250 -keyint_min 25 -sc_threshold 40 -i_qfactor 0.71 -b_strategy 1 -threads 0
It worked, but was very slow.

I've been using mine on relatively lower quality standard def stuff, so no real worries.

I left it running on some 720p videos when i left for work this morning.  Will do some comparisons later.  also need to make one that doesn't transcode audio.
