after converting an MP4 video clip to Wmm2generic, i am at a loss for the next step. I do not see a button that says Finish, close or OK, just Open. I had it made to be sent to my Desktop and I do not see it there...so what gives? Anyone?  BTW, this is windows 7.

do you mean at the end of the conversion after you close the command window?

winff starts ffmpeg as a completely seperate process. you can close the winff at anytime after you start the conversion or start another conversion. it doesn't matter.

When i use it, I load all my files up click convert and close winff then minimize the command window and go to bed

WinFF is a front-end that makes the unrivaled power of FFmpeg (or avconv) available even to people who are afraid by command lines: it creates the command-line (in a .bat file), launches FFMpeg, then it can be closed.

As there is some room left on the main form for a new button, maybe you could ad a "Close" button, Matt;) But indeed, completely redundant with the close gadget of the form.

Do you mean you don't find the converted file either, Anthony? Try to set it again (or elsewhere) then redo the conversion. I also noticed some issues with the destination path in some cases.

if you can't find the converted file click the 'open' button at the end of 'output folder'
