Has the state of the world moved on sufficiently that someone brave could get wikidpad to work under Python3  - or is it still impossible?

Hi Graham,

I run wp like this:

wikidPad 2.3beta11
Sqlite version: 3.8.4.1
wxPython version: 3.0.2.0

on

Python 2.7.9 |Continuum Analytics, Inc.| (default, Mar  9 2015, 16:20:48)
[GCC 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-1)] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
Anaconda is brought to you by Continuum Analytics.

and it works decently (until a week ago, but that is a different story).
The move to wxpython > 3.0.0.0 is definitely worth some investment, it is snappier and much easier to install than 2.8
I am curious about Phoenix ? Is it ready to use?

I never used Python > 2.7 because many libraries were missing. is it time to move on? What are the main benefits?

I think Michael is still on 2.8 though?

cheers,
Björn
