Jeff Knutsen named IMT Director; Team takes on SIS project responsibility
Jeff Knutsen is the new director of the Instructional Media and Technology team, replacing Steve Sanders who retired in August. Jeff has been with DPI since early September when he was originally selected as the learning management system administrator, a new role created in anticipation of a statewide learning management system and educator resource portal. Jeff comes to DPI with nearly 20 years of IT experience most of which has been in the K-12 arena. He also founded an educational software company that included curriculum management applications. Most recently, Jeff was the IT director at the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District.
In addition, the statewide student information system project team is also now assigned to IMT.
