After installing the WebLogic Portal 4.0 as per the installation instructions I tried to start the portal server by going to start > Programs > BEA WebLogic E-Business Platform > BEA WebLogic Portal 4.0 > Start BEA WebLogic Portal.

The command window is launched and it requests a passwords to be entered which I do and then it gets to the point of starting the WebLogic Admin Server "portalServer" for domain "portalDomain" and it just hangs there and doesn't give an error it just does nothing.

Any suggestios would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Banu
