Hi,

I was trying to run the example RDBMS realm on an Oracle database on WLS6.0 sp2.
I got the users and the groups from the database but when I was trying to access
the ACLs, I got the following exception on the WebLogic Console:

An unexpected error was encountered in processing your request.

Exception
weblogic.management.configuration.RealmException: RealmManager.listAcls - with
nested exception:

Has any one seen this before? It only occured when I loaded the database.

Thanks,

The RDBMS ream example does not support ACLs. There are other notes in this newgroup explaining what the RDBMS realm does support.

Actually, the RDBMSRealm partially supports ACLs.

The RDBMSRealm reads ACL information from the database
therefore supports permission checking.

However, the RDBMSRealm does not support
creating/editing/removing ACLs from the console.
Instead, it relies on the administrator putting
the ACLs into the database using sql scripts.

Tim:

I had a similar problem. The solution is to set the getGroupNewStatement
Realm property to true.
