Help, please!!

I am really beginning to hate JBuilder.

I am using JBuilder 8 (Weblogic Version) and Weblogic Portal (Server
7.0).
I created a project, made a session facade and an entity bean using
information supplied from a functioning datasource (from an Oracle 9i
databse). All tools are used on a WIN2k box. Everything compiles fine
until the ejbc compiler fires up then everything goes to hell.

I am getting the following error:

"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": weblogic.common.internal.VersioningError:
Cannot read manifests from CLASSPATH: Access is denied
"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": at
weblogic.common.internal.VersionInfo.<init>(VersionInfo.java:36)
"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": at weblogic.version.<clinit>(version.java:18)
"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": at
weblogic.ejb20.ejbc.EJBCompiler.makeFileHash(EJBCompiler.java:494)
"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": at
weblogic.ejb20.ejbc.EJBCompiler.setupEJB(EJBCompiler.java:160)
"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": at
weblogic.ejb20.ejbc.EJBCompiler.compileEJB(EJBCompiler.java:332)
"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": at weblogic.ejbc20.runBody(ejbc20.java:470)
"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": at
weblogic.utils.compiler.Tool.run(Tool.java:126)
"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": at weblogic.ejbc.main(ejbc.java:29)
"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": Exception in thread "main"

Here is the classpath:
"rfiEjbModule.ejbgrpx": C:\bea\jdk131_06\bin\javaw -classpath
"C:\bea\weblogic700\server\lib\weblogic.jar;C:\JBuilder8\lib\jbcl.jar;C:\JBuilder8\lib\dx.jar;C:\JBuilder8\lib\beandt.jar;D:\Sandbox\cop21\!workspace\rfi\implementation\rfiProject\jdbc\oracle9i\classes12.zip;C:\JBuilder8\thirdparty\jakarta-struts-1.0.2\lib\struts.jar;"
weblogic.ejbc -keepgenerated -compiler C:/JBuilder8/bin/bcjW
D:/Sandbox/cop21/!workspace/rfi/implementation/rfiProject/rfiEjbModule.jar.jar
D:/Sandbox/cop21/!workspace/rfi/implementation/rfiProject/rfiEjbModule.jar

I have tried to find the Classpath entry in Weblogic without success
to try and
see if that was the problem.

I remeber having a similar problem with Weblogic 6.x and JBuilder 7
but can't remember the work around.

Any help is much appriciated.

Cheers,

Cory

Hi.
I hope you have posted this to another newsgroup as well, and also perhaps
opened an official support case. The ejb issue below shows nothing to do with
jdbc at this time.
