SMS and Phonecalls

hi,

i've googling and found the url :

my question is it possible to do this in web2py app? put it in the module and called it via controller maybe?

any thoughts or suggestions?

Sure, go ahead. Looks like the phone has to be connected to the machine running the code, so the web2py app would have to be running locally on the machine with the phone connected.

If you just want to use web2py to send text messages, also have a look at http://web2py.com/books/default/chapter/29/08/emails-and-sms#Sending-SMS-messages. Doesn't require a phone.

Another alternative is to use a service like twilio.
