i have a index page, that show many info's about many tables, and every time the page is loaded, i verify if registers change to generate this..

about 3k rows, my verification with a simples for, take a while, +/- seconds.. how to optimize?

Caching it would be the most obvious. Denormalization also helps a lot as you can reduce a lot of the queries that way.
