I am working on a python diploma course plan, and I was writing some
conferences about web development with python and web2py, but now there
is a python 3 requirement.

I know that right now the master branch has some support for python 3,
but I need an official release for getting some software in the program,
because of that I am just asking if there is a plan of releasing a
version with at least, partial python 3 support in the next two months,
or if I need to change my conferences to django or flask :(

Greetings.

web2py works with python 3 and did so for a while.

Hi Massimo, thanks for your answer, I know about the web2py support for
python3, right now I am testing some of my applications and they are
working, the only big issue that I find at the moment is that the ldap
auth uses a python module with no python 3 version (among some
performance lost that I am trying to identify)

But the last official version dates almost one year ago and lacks of the
python 3 compatibility, I was asking if you are planning to make a new
release with that support in the near future (let's say in the next two
months), because for this work, I need to use an official release
version, an not the master branch of a repository.

Greetings.
