Hey,

I am very interested in using webintents an an alternative to "normal" webservices. What I asked myself is: "how" and "where" are web-pages (not apps) which support an intents (e.g. "share") registered, so that an arbitrary client can use this service? This is totally unclear to me and maybe someone can give me a link to a good explanation or explain it to me.

I also tried the source code @github. For me, it is not possible to run the server correctly (I have no experience with appengine). I installed all needed packages (node.js, appengine, nginx ...), did a ./make (worked) and started via './server/run.sh' which did not work. It worked by starting directly in the server directory by executing the 'run.sh' script. After that, I tried to start nginx with the referenced nginx.conf (which was not in the master branch, instead I found it in the appengine branch) but I realized that the nginx, conf was not really up to date with the file system paths. So finally, I was not able to run the server. Maybe you could give me some assist, too. Or update the docs / conf.

Greetings, Martin

I need to get the documentation hosting sorted correctly.  It is pretty easy once you know how, but that is the problem - only I know how at the moment.

I will get on to it asap.
