Border To Border Trail Update Meeting – This Tuesday, November 17th In Ann Arbor - The Friends of the Border To Border Trail will be providing an update session on the 35-mile long cross-county Border To Border bicycling and walking trail at its annual meeting, Tuesday, November 17, 7pm, at the Ann Arbor REI store Community Room, 970 West Eisenhower Parkway in Ann Arbor.

 

The featured speaker will be by Peter Sanderson of the Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Commission who will give updates on the progress of the Trail such as steps being taken to take the Trail off-road from Dexter to Ann Arbor and north to meet up with the Lakeland Trail. Also reviewed will be newly constructed Trail segments in the Ypsilanti and Dexter area.

 

In addition, members of the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative will discuss their work on a proposed trail from Dexter to Chelsea to Stockbridge. The evening will conclude with a short business meeting for Friends Of The Border To Border Trail members.
