Dear resident,
The City of Ann Arbor would like to invite you to attend the kick-off meeting for the Crosswalk Design Guidelines Project. There will be two meetings on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Ann Arbor District Library's downtown
branch located at 343 S 5th Ave. The first meeting will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m., the second from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The primary focus of the meeting will be:
-
Responding to the public concerns identified through the Pedestrian Safety Access Task Force project regarding inconsistencies in crosswalk design.
-
Learning about community desires and preferences for crosswalk designs, especially how the community understands existing traffic control devices at crosswalks.
-
Sharing with the community what requirements and guidelines the City already is required or chooses to work with.
We look forward to working with residents and appreciate your interest in improving safety and travel environments.
Thank you for your time and attention.
