Want To Have Ann Arbor’s Washtenaw Avenue Redesigned For ALL Users Or Are Things Just Fine As They Are???

If you think pedestrians, bicyclists, buses and motorized traffic should be accommodated in a master plan for the road, please attend the Ann Arbor City Council public hearing on Monday, June 1st (Ann Arbor City Hall 301 E Huron St,, 2nd floor, 7pm) and urge Council to support the Re-Imagine Washtenaw Plan. Anyone who attends can speak for 3 minutes in support of safer Washtenaw Avenue - no need to call ahead to speak! Can’t attend? If an Ann Arbor resident, contact your Council member (email addresses at www.a2gov.org/departments/city-council/Pages/Home.aspx) and urge them to support the Re-Imagine Washtenaw study. For more on the Re-Imagine Washtenaw Program visit www.washtenawavenue.org. For the Washtenaw Bicycling and Walking Coalition statement supporting Re-Imagine Washtenaw visit http://www.wbwc.org/images/reimagine_statement2.pdf
