Sound in Wax

1) Wax allow only wav sound file. Is the way to prepare Wax to allow mp3 or others?
2) I add wav soud and jpg picture as source. Wax render to avi perfect ( sound and image OK ) but not play sound in preview. Why? What to do to change this behaviour?

If you move the timeline arrow forward, then move it back, it will fix it:
