Videos not playing when I import Them

HELP! I downloaded wax 2.0 recently and it worked fine the first time, but now my videos won't play. I've tried the link on other posts related to this problem but its a useless link which just pops up loads of ads before I can even get close to clicking download. Why does wax do this?
