DirectX blur effect crashes Wax2.0

Hi all,

I'm following step-by-step this tutorial:

But when I arrive to the adding blur effect it doesn't work and it
tells me:

"Wax performed an illegal operation.

Information about the exception is stored in the files:
...
...

Please zip the files etc.
Thanks for your patience."

Is anything like this happened to anyone of you?

did you ever figure out how to fix this? because im having the same problem.

DirectX effects always do that, use shatter image.
