Dear WADA Listserve Members,
I know that that everyone on the listserv cares deeply about rights of people with disabilities. Disability Rights Washington is looking to recognize those people and entities that are making significant progress and efforts to advance the rights of people with disabilities. They would love your help spreading the word.
Disability Rights Washington is currently soliciting nominations for the Breaking Barriers Awards. These prestigious awards honor a business, an elected official or public servant, and an advocate with a disability for breaking barriers to advance the rights of and improve the lives of people with disabilities in Washington State. Specifically, DRW will present the following awards: 1) Business Leader Award; 2) Public Policy Award, and 3) Advocacy Award. The recipients of these awards will be honored at DRW's 2nd Annual Fundraiser, "Breaking Barriers," on September 23, 2017.

Please nominate someone or a business you think deserves the award.
The nomination process is very simple and does not take a lot of time. To access the nomination form, please visit http://www.disabilityrightswa.org/advocacy-news/now-accepting-breaking-barriers-award-nominations . The deadline for nominations is June 14th.
