Description
The Public Interest Law Group, PLLC (PILG) seeks to add one or more partner-level attorneys to its law practice. Potential candidates might enter as a partner or as of-counsel with a path to partnership. Potential candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to economic and social justice. Desired areas of legal practice include worker rights, civil rights, consumer protection, immigration, public benefits, prisoner rights, and other social-justice-oriented fields. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of litigation experience and be prepared to join a firm with strong progressive values and a nontraditional structure that includes high levels of collaboration, significant low bono and pro bono work, and innovative fee-sharing arrangements.
Founded in 2003, PILG is a firm where passionate lawyers can use their training and skills to advance social justice goals that matter to them. Based on a hybrid of non-profit and for-profit models, PILG regularly serves clients who would otherwise have difficulty accessing legal representation, while also partnering with other firms and organizations to pursue impact litigation.
