FYI, what one small suburban town (Wilsonville, OR)  is doing with their manual count data.
What is your community up to with your counts?

I thought I would share with you bike-ped people the 2014 bike-ped counts from my home town of Wilsonville, OR.  On that page you can click on the right hand side to see the various years and charts.

Every September since 2010, volunteers count and survey people who are biking and walking Wilsonville's trails, parks and natural areas – using nationally standardized surveying and recording methods.

Also, the count is part of the National Bicycle and Pedestrian Documentation Project’s annual gathering of trail use data at over 90 sites nationwide. If you are interested in their data or contributing date then contact them for more information.

We (Washington County, OR - just NW of Wilsonville) completed our annual short term counts in Sept/Oct - Twenty one-day (12-hr) video counts at intersections. At this point, factoring our short term counts into annual estimates is pretty rough since we don't currently have local permanent counts with which to adjust our short term counts. But fortunately we're getting a couple of permanent counters installed soon and so this situation will improve. We also hope to coordinate efforts with other local jurisdictions.

Best,
