Dear Teachers and Administrators,

Take your students to Mars!  The Arizona State University Mars Education Program is hosting a free online webinar to introduce NASA’s award-winning immersive science experience – the Mars Student Imaging Project (MSIP).    This event is a great chance for you to find out how you can involve your students in authentic research of another planet. This webinar will focus on the projects’ unique benefits and help guide teachers on how you can learn to use this project in your current curriculum.  This project highly aligns with the Next Generation Standards and Common Core. We highly encourage you to attend this interactive online event for more information. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions in real time with the Mars Education Program staff about the project.

MSIP is a NASA-sponsored project and just received an award as one of the top inquiry-based programs in the U.S.  MSIP was recognized for its capability of involving students in grades 5 – early college in authentic research using a satellite at Mars by Science Magazine and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS.)

Help your students learn the process of science by being the scientists!
