All,

I have a Windows 2000 Pro and Linux 2.4 (SuSe) installed on a Compaq Laptop.
I use Boot Magic to start either one or the other OS... I heard about
VMWare installed the demo and had Linux running as a guest system inside of
Windows 2000, everything was great. I decided to purchase VMWare, after
installing the purchase version I can no longer boot my guest Linux system.
I get the following error: 02B0: Diskette Drive A Error. Even when I
change my configuration and eliminate the floppy drives I can't get passed
this error. Any help would be appreicated!

Thanks,
Pat

I believe that this is usually caused when you have told the VM that
it has a floppy drive mapped to hardware, but the floppy has been
physically removed/disabled on the host.

I tell the VM that there is no floppy installed and it still errors out?

Yes, but did you go into the BIOS setup inside the VM and tell it
THERE that you have no floppy drive?
